Vandenberg reveal new video and US tour dates

VANDENBERG Reveal Official Video For “Hit the Ground Running”
Ahead of February-March tour of The USA and April tour The Netherlands

The iconic Vandenberg are set to bring their colossal rocking prowess to the road next month as they take on a 22-date tour across the USA, playing their own headline shows and co-headline shows with Geoff Tate before heading back to The Netherlands for a 10-date tour in April. To celebrate the news, they have revealed the official music video for Hit The Ground Running.

Talking about the video Adrian Vandenberg says, “finally! It was about time for a ‘High Energy Crash Boom Bang Wallop Take No Prisoners’ kinda band video’. Befitting a high energy song of course and we got this stuff, truckloads of it. Fasten your seatbelts, here comes ‘Hit The Ground Running’ off our latest album ‘Sin’!”

Hit The Ground Running is taken from last year's acclaimed studio album, SIN. which was released on Mascot Records. The album is a rocking ride of juggernaut riff and stadium sized hooks and choruses. Every album paints a picture. Instead of utilising a brush and canvas, Vandenberg paints with towering vocals, earthquaking rhythms, and the iconic and instantly recognizable fretwork of guitarist and namesake Adrian Vandenberg. Joined by vocalist Mats Levén, drummer Koen Herfst, and bassist Randy van der Elsen, the influential axe-slinger delivers a vibrant, visceral, and vital vision on the group’s fifth full-length offering, SIN, brought to life in broad strokes of anthemic hard rock and airtight metal and produced by Bob Marlette [Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie].

Crossing the Atlantic, the band will be playing Whitesnake and Vandenberg classics as well as songs from the new album. Starting on 17 Feb in St. Charles, IL, they’ll then charge through a headline run of shows in Cincinnati, OH, Charlotte, NC, Fort Lauderdale, FL and Fort Myers, FL. They’ll then join Geoff Tate on a co-headline run starting on 26 February in Clearwater, FL and finishing in Dallas, TX on 14 March. They’ll then return to Europe for a headline tour of The Netherlands, beginning on 4 April at  Grenswerk, Venlo and coming to an end on 14 April at Melkweg, Amsterdam.

Talking about the tour Adrian adds, “having kicked some butt in 2023 in the US, Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic, the island of Labadee, several European festivals and a sold out Dutch tour we’re getting ready for our US East Coast tour in February/ March, co-headlining with Geoff Tate.

Furthermore a string of shows and festivals in Europe / Holland and more to be announced soon. We hope to see as many of you guys as humanly possible and can’t wait to bring a big wide smile on your faces!”
